This week has been crazy! I've been really busy pleasing hoomans with my cuteness. My blog couldn't keep up with my schedule!

But first, let me show you my beautiful costume -- this Halloween, I am Little Red Riding RUE! I wanted to be Puss in Boots, really, but momma couldn't find someone who can make my boots and hat. So we ended up with Little Red Riding Hood, which I think is super cute, anyway!

Ain't it pretty? I love the Hello Kitty patch on it. My grandma hand-sewn it for two weeks! She told me she wouldn't make a dress if it weren't for me -- that's how much she loves me! Oh, and please pay attention to my lil basket in the next photos! I soooo love it! Grandma went to Quiapo and searched every corner for it. I love my Grandma!

I joined PAWS Scaredy Cats and Dogs event in Eastwood on October 23 and it has launched my career to international stardom! Eeeek, I am so popular now! I got the Hali-MEOW Award again and here's what happened there:

Yay! I won! I won! It's the Hali-MEOW Award (Best Native Cat in Costume) again :)

One of the judges, Mr. Victor Basa (I was told he is a celebrity like me!) was kind enough to carry my prizes because they won't fit in my lil basket.

This is our friend, Jacks, who won the Transylvanian Star Award! He's the grand winner, yay!

It was a tiring event, because it was hot, but we came prepared: momma brought a lil fan for me!

I had so much fun, but I was dead tired after. 

100th Post: Rue is an International Star!

OMG I can't believe I became an international sensation overnight!

Oh, and this is our 100th post already! Wow!

Momma and I went to PAWS Scaredy Cats and Dogs event in Eastwood last Sunday. I was at my prettiest, wearing a red hood and a beautiful dress. And I had a little basket on my paw, too! Suddenly, I was amazed at how many hoomans were taking photos of me, with their seriously big cameras and lenses! They were media people!!! Momma got interviewed by Philippine Star, then a few took my photo and video for Philippine Daily Inquirer, GMA 7 and ABS-CBN. But Noel Celis from Agence France-Presse (AFP) took the cake! His photos of me are amazing, I landed in different international news sites, forums and blogs! OMG I don't know how to handle fame yet, can you find me a manager?

I Skype!

Guess what, momma is away again! She always is :( But we found a way not to miss each other, thanks to this thing where I can see and hear momma. I can talk to her, too! Isn't that wonderful? I was told it's called Skype, and I use it on Grandma's laptop. She's our catsitter now, and she's great because she always gives us milk and treats! 

I actually love it when momma is away because we are always spoiled rotten by whoever is our catsitter, but Qish doesn't like it when momma's not around. He howls at night to look for her. I guess he really misses momma.

So here's proof that I know how to rock it in Skype!

This Bothers Me...

Okay, so I was looking at the mirror the other day, and look what I noticed -- my whiskers are turning black! Ack!

Definitely not happy with mah whiskers!

It started from the root, and now it's working it's way to the tip. I have one on each side of my face. Has any of the kitties out there experienced this? Anyone? Please tell me I'm not alone in this curse! Would you know why this happens? Any remedy? I want to look flawless and perfect all the time, and this just makes me ugly! :(

Happy, Yippie, Healthy!

Qish is a picture of great health lately, and I am so happy! If you remember, Qish's health had been on a rollercoaster ride. Last year, he was diagnosed with acute kidney failure, and we had moments when I thought I would lose him (September, October and November stories). During those months, he was so thin, frail and had no passion to eat. I refused to take his photos back then because he was stick thin -- I could literally feel the bones under his skin. Who would have thought that Qish would go back to his bouncy, frisky, playful and, err, fat self months later! Lately, his energy for play is just unbelievable! YAY for Qish! :)

Who wants a bite off those round, fat thighs?! I DO! Ohhh, and THAT BELLY!

Momma is recovering at home from her surgery. Qish has been taking good care of her by being on her side ALL THE TIME, even when she goes to the toilet! Sheez! I'm not the caring/sweet-type, so I thought I'd amuse her by being cute and creative:

Momma is in the Hospital!

Momma is undergoing surgery this afternoon. She said it will remove her tonsils. I don't know what they are, but she's been at the hospital since yesterday. 

I can't be with her because they don't allow kitties there (how could they not?!), but I asked her to take my blown-up photo with her so I can cheer her up.

Well, the good thing is, our catsitter (our grandpa this time) is taking care of us. Last week while momma is away on a trip, grandpa was with us the whole weekend and momma was oh-so-surprised when she came back! Qish and I were both bouncing in furry fat-ness, teehee. She scolded grandpa, but we always find a way to get him to give us more food, anyway. He's under our spell!

I can't wait for momma to get back. But we can't play yet because she can't get exhausted, or her surgical wound may bleed again :( See you, momma! We miss you!
