Prayer PAWer

-- Hooman Momma

It was a crazy weekend.  Qish started refusing to eat on Friday night (Nov. 12) and had been vomiting white foam since then until the whole of Saturday.  He had about 7 to 8 small puddles of white foam all over the house.  I brought him to Vets in Practice Animal Hospital and he was given sub-Q fluid, Ranitidine (antacid), Depo-Medrol (prednisone) and B-complex.  Dr. Riza Zunio talked to me about doing an ultrasound procedure after the medication to determine if there are any growths/tumors on his liver or intestines.  As of today, he has only eaten a few kibbles -- about five Orijen kibbles.  He's been skin and bones, getting smaller and smaller each day, and still refuses to eat.

Please offer a short prayer for Qish.  He's been my angel since 2007, and I don't want to lose him this soon.    He's only 3 years and 8 months old.

I will never give up on him; let us pray that he does not give up on himself.  Thank you.

Hang on, Qish :( :( :(

Jonna, what does the white foam vomit mean? :( Poor baby

Hi, Kate. According to his vet, vomiting white foam can mean different things. It can be because his kidney failure is progressing, high acidity in the stomach, liver problem, or growth in the intestines. They still have to determine what caused it in Qish's case, although after receiving antacid injection last Saturday, he has not vomited again. They are supposed to do an ultrasound on him but it still depends on Qish's general health and disposition. He has to be sedated kasi for them to do that, he's extremely fierce when he's at the vet :(

Qish T_T
I hope he turns out ok. He's always getting sick ah. :(

We are sending serious healing prayers & love!

Nubbin wiggles & hugs,
Oskar & Pam

Qish is doing better, thank God! And thanks for your PAWerful prayers :) He started eating well yesterday. That's after 4 days of starving himself!
