Qish Update

-- Hooman Momma

Qish has been gobbling up his food since Tuesday, Thank God!  Thanks for your prayers, and thanks to his good vet, Dr. Riza Zunio of Vets in Practice, who never gave up on Qish no matter how grumpy and fierce he was.  It took over 20 minutes for her to get the needle under his skin for his sub Q and injections.  Qish is such a fighter, physically and mentally.

I seriously thought I would lose him within the week.  Seeing how thin he was (literally skin and bones) made my heart sink to the bottom.  I was already preparing myself for the worst; I would cry at night with the thought that it could be the last night he's spending with me.  But I guess cats really have nine lives; on Tuesday morning, he started sniffing his food, then had a big bite, and asked for more.  And more.  He's been eating really well, and I can't feel his bones now!  I am just so happy!

This is one of his favorite spots.  He could never fit all of his body parts in there, no matter how hard he tries.

hugs to Qish! So happy he is okay now :)

OMG. Literally...I cried over your story. I've been very lucky to have cats that are never sick despite their likotness so I can't imagine having to go through this. Naiyak talaga ako, reading this...

Awww. Luckily, Rue is not sickly. I envy other cats who have good health. Qish has always been sickly from the start and I really have to allocate some funds for their "emergency" vet needs.

Yaaaay! ^___^ Go Qish, have a speeeedier recovery :D
